SHIGA TRIP: DAY 1

We visited our friends in Shiga! It was our first time visiting the prefecture. They hosted us and guided us around the area. Since I have taken so many pictures I'll divide them into different parts.

Starting sightseeing from visiting Taneya's flagship pastry store named La Collina.


滋賀に住んでる友達を訪問！滋賀県を訪れるのは初めてだったけど、友達が案内してくれたよ〜写真をたくさん撮ったから更新を何回かに分けるね。

滋賀観光はたねやのフラグシップストア、ラコリーナから始まったよ！

Then off to take a fika! We went to a small café called Lapis Lazuli.

Their pancakes were amazing! So fluffy and delicious!


そしてフィカーをしに、Lapis Lazuliという小さなカフェへ。

パンケーキが最高！ふわふわで美味しかった！

Catching the sunset over lake Biwa (the largest lake in Japan).

Then off to eat dinner! An Izakaya that prides themselves over the many different sorts of sake they sell. They also had many different kinds of local dishes. And I think that best way to enjoy your travel is to try the local food.

そしてディナーを食べに。たくさんの種類の日本酒を提供しているのが売りの居酒屋さんへ。ここでは他にも地元の食材を使った料理も出してたよ。やっぱり地元のものをいただけるのって旅の醍醐味だよね！
